Early Life & Career: Saul Hudson was named after an artist named Saul Steinberg. But his stage name was “Slash” that was given by actor Seymour Cassel. In his childhood, Slash occasionally escorted his mother to work and came across some film and music stars. Slash wanted to establish a band with his friend Steven Adler in 1979 that was never emerged but encouraged Slash to engage in an instrument.
